Well Cambodia is getting closer!
Vaccinations have been done. We needed the second of the Hep A jabs to give us now lifelong cover, oh and the ability to eat Nanna’s Berries apparently. Just a little side bonus. The jabs were a little different to what we’d expected though. Went along for Hep A shot, doctor asks where we’re going so we say Cambodia. She then says we probably should have typhoid jab as well and gives us script for this. Then she asks how long since last tetanus booster, neither Helen or or can remember so, yes you guessed it we get that as well. Long story short we went in for one jab and ended up with three. Arms were a little sore the next day…..
Visa’s for Cambodia are now sorted, their eVisa app on iPad is a breeze to use. Take your own photo, fill in the details and bingo all sorted. A very quick money making exercise for them with little to no work on their side.
US dollars have been secured, can’t but Cambodian currency outside the country and apparently US dollar is main internal currency anyway. Have to say the presidents are the most boring looking currency I’ve seen for a long time…
