Hi folks,

Been brewing today - not the Happy Pils but another bottom-fermenting beer... something like a Vienna Amber Lager.

But something weird has happened - I haven't pitched the yeast yet, and I'm waiting for the wort to cool before I do so, and I noticed...

Getting it together to start a round of winter brewing, and first on the list is a crisp pilsener.

My plan is to use czech saaz hops plugs for aroma at the end.

1)Anyone used these before?

2)How many plugs should...

a few rum drinking mates like the GB and i thought maybe a rum addition would go down well  Cheesy

not sure wether it will be bottles or keg so any tips would be great, how much, how will it affect carbonation in the bottles etc.

gday all,

due to a recent win in the household i've come into posession of a 48 lt Esky (Polarcooler brand from the US).

my current 25 lt Tun is right on the limits with a ratio of 3.0lt to 1kg, just wondering if maybe it's possible for the Tun to be too big in...
